Folding Screens

This three-panel folding screen reimagines the harmony of function and art.
The left and right panels are crafted from semi-transparent ramie and silk threads
that shimmer with changing light, allowing front and back embroidery to overlap into
a dreamlike, breathing tableau. At the center, a rotatable mirror with an integrated
hanger extends both practicality and reflection—inviting light, garments, and life into
its frame.

The embroidered textiles can be detached and renewed with the seasons, allowing
the piece to shift between screen, mirror, and sculptural art. Metal and ramie meet in
fluid balance, creating an object that embodies quiet luxury and cultural dialogue—a
serene encounter between East and West, utility and beauty.
